A small brass weight with a knob, a solid brass ring and a penny comprise this effect. A borrowed penny is dropped into the ring which is resting on any surface. The small brass weight is placed on the penny, a snap of the fingers and spectator is asked to remove a weight. The penny has changed to a dime.
