The effect is straightforward a spectator is asked to think of any card in the pack. Once he has done this, the deck is set on the table and partly covered with the magician¬πs hand. The Joker from the deck is used to tap the deck in an attempt to cause the spectator¬πs thought card to vanish. Surprise of surprises! When the performer¬πs hand is lifted, the entire deck has vanished!! It is found back inside its card case!
If you like, when you reproduce the Deck you may use an Invisible deck or Brainwave Deck (see elsewhere on this website for these special tricked decks) as you already know the spectator's card and now can show it in a magical way and thus extend this Vanishing Deck Routine into an even better Miracle!!
